I am considering purchasing the 1480A unit and need to be sure that I can do the following with it:

Monitor all signal/data on a USB host connected to a USB2 device.
Inject data signals into the connection as a USB1 host.
Inject signals/data into the connection as a USB1 device and as a USB2 device.
Connect the 1480A acting as a USB1 Host directly to the USB2 device and perform all signal/data activity for device operation.

Please advise.

You are asking if the 1480A can act as a traffic generator. The answer is NO. The 1480A is a USB Analyzer, not a USB Traffic Generator. There are other vendors selling these for around $1,300. Google is your friend.
